On January 6th, the “Innovation for Growth” event and the launch ceremony of the national standard for Zuliz Elderly Shoes took place as scheduled in Zhengzhou, Henan. Experts from the Shoe Standardization Committee and representatives from key distributors of Zuliz attended the event. During the ceremony, Secretary-General Sang Jun of the National Footwear Standardization Technical Committee presented the founder of Zuliz Elderly Shoes, Zhang Jingkang, with a plaque recognizing them as the “First Drafting Unit of the National Standard for Elderly Shoes.” The release of the national standard for Elderly Shoes holds great significance in promoting the standardization, regulation, and quality improvement of the entire elderly shoe industry. It marks a significant milestone in the development of the elderly shoe industry.

In his keynote speech during the event, Zhang Jingkang, the founder of Zuliz Elderly Shoes, expressed his gratitude for being able to participate in the development of the national standard for “Elderly Shoes” and assume the responsibility as the first drafting unit. He also emphasized that Zuliz will continue to play a leading role in the construction of the standardization system, serving as an important demonstration and driving force for the high-quality development of the elderly shoe industry.

As per the information received, in August 2021, the National Standards Committee issued the project notification for the national standard of “Elderly Shoes”. Zuliz, as a leading enterprise, was invited to participate in the drafting work of the standard and assumed the responsibility as the first drafting unit. Leveraging its own quality management system and the advantage of a database for the foot shapes of elderly users, the company actively participated in various aspects of the standard development work, providing valuable feasibility reference for the drafting of the standard.

During its nearly ten years of establishment, the Zuliz brand has led and participated in the drafting of 24 standards, including 1 national standard, 2 aging-friendly standards in the light industry, 12 industry group standards for elderly shoes, and 9 enterprise standards. Among them, the enterprise standards for travel shoes and casual shoes received the “Leading Enterprise Standard” certificate and the “Advanced Standard” certificate, respectively. The specialized development of Zuliz Elderly Shoes’ standards has played an advanced demonstration and guiding role in the overall elderly shoe industry.
