On January 6th, the Zuliz elderly shoes “Innovation Wins Growth” and the national standard launching ceremony took place as scheduled in Zhengzhou, Henan. Experts from the shoe standard committee, as well as key distributors of Zuliz nationwide, attended the event. During the ceremony, the Secretary-General of the National Footwear Standardization Technical Committee, Jun Sang, presented the founder of Zuliz elderly shoes, Jingkang Zhang, with the plaque for being the “First Drafting Unit of the National Standard for ‘Old People’s Shoes’.” The release of the national standard for “Old People’s Shoes” is of great significance in promoting the standardization, regulation, and quality development of the entire elderly shoe industry, marking an important milestone in the industry’s development.

The Secretary-General of the shoe standard committee, Jun Sang, mentioned during the event that the release of the national standard for “Old People’s Shoes” has put an end to the industry’s previous state of lacking standards to follow. This standard not only represents a crucial step in implementing the national initiative to promote the development and standardization of elderly products but also addresses the urgent need for industry growth and the protection of the rights of elderly individuals. By establishing this standard, it will effectively regulate and lead the development of the elderly shoe industry.

Founder of Zuliz elderly shoes, Jingkang Zhang, delivered a keynote speech during the event. He expressed that Zuliz is honored to be involved in the drafting of the national standard for “Old People’s Shoes” and to serve as the first drafting unit. Zuliz is committed to continuing to play a significant leading role in the construction of standardization systems, thereby supporting the high-quality development of the elderly shoe industry.

It is understood that in August 2021, the National Standards Committee issued a notice for the initiation of the national standard for “Old People’s Shoes.” Zuliz, as a leading enterprise, was invited to participate in the drafting of the standard and assumed the significant role of the first drafting unit. Leveraging its advantages in quality system construction and the database of elderly users’ foot shapes, the company actively engaged in various aspects of standard-setting work, providing valuable feasibility references for the drafting of the standard.

In its nearly ten years of brand establishment, Zuliz has led and participated in the drafting of 24 standards, including 1 national standard, 2 aging industry standards in the light industry sector, 12 elderly shoe industry group standards, and 9 enterprise standards. Among them, the enterprise standards for travel shoes and casual shoes have each received certificates as “Leaders” and “Advanced Standards,” showcasing Zuliz’s specialized development in elderly shoes and its role as an advanced demonstration and guiding force within the overall elderly shoe industry.

This event holds profound significance for the Zuliz brand itself. Zuliz has expressed its commitment to continue deepening its focus on the elderly shoe sector, ensuring that products strictly adhere to national standards requirements, even surpassing them when possible. The company will persist in strengthening its professional capabilities, solidifying its position as a leader in the industry.

Looking ahead, Zuliz elderly shoes will continue to actively participate in the development of various elderly shoe and aging-related standards, collaborating with the industry to contribute to the industry’s progress and development.
