Recently, the “Zuliz Love for the Elderly Charity Action,” initiated by the China Aging Development Foundation and Zuliz Love for the Elderly Fund, revisited Queshan County and Shangcai County in Zhumadian, Henan. They provided essential living supplies and specialized assistance to elderly people in need in rural areas. Following their initial visit in October 2025, Zuliz once again delved into Queshan and Shangcai, deepening their charitable impact in the Central Plains region and enhancing their elderly assistance efforts in the area.

At the site of the charity event, the Zuliz volunteer team, in collaboration with local village committees and civil affairs department staff, completed the inventory and distribution of supplies. The assistance materials provided this time included essential items such as rice, flour, cooking oil, Zuliz footwear products, and living subsidies for the next quarter. All supplies and funds were sourced from the dedicated reserve of the “Zuliz Love for the Elderly Fund,” following the action guidelines of “quarterly assistance, continuous care,” ensuring that assistance resources accurately reach the target groups in need.

As a leading enterprise in the elderly industry, Zuliz has established a philanthropic presence covering Shanxi, Hebei, and Henan provinces since initiating the Love for the Elderly charity action in Zhengzhou in May 2025. Public information reveals that the first initiative landed in Sanquan Village, Shanxi in September 2025, providing essential supplies and compassionate support to local elderly individuals. Subsequently, they extended their efforts to areas such as Tongxu Elderly Care Home in Henan, Queshan, Shangcai, Huaiyang in Henan, and rural regions in Chengde, Hebei, assisting over a hundred disadvantaged elderly individuals. This further outreach in Zhumadian, Henan reinforces their philanthropic strategy of “deep cultivation in North China, reaching out to the Central Plains.”

The decision to focus on elderly individuals in rural areas stems from the pronounced needs of this demographic group in the context of China’s aging population. With a large rural population base and the ongoing urbanization process, the percentage of elderly people living alone or in empty nests in rural areas continues to rise, highlighting increasing demands for foot health care and basic life support. According to data, 89% of seniors experience varying degrees of foot issues, with a common challenge being the lack of professional care and age-appropriate products.

This targeted assistance approach is rooted in Zuliz’s longstanding commitment to the concept of “business for good.” In 2023, Zuliz, in collaboration with the China Aging Development Foundation, established the “Zuliz Love for the Elderly Fund,” laying a foundation for the company’s systematic involvement in philanthropy. Building on the experiences of fund operations, in 2025, Zuliz further enhanced its philanthropic system and officially launched the “Zuliz Love for the Elderly Charity Action,” integrating philanthropic projects into a sustainable, replicable, and scalable model.

“Corporate social responsibility should not be merely an additional action outside of business but should be an intrinsic part of a company’s development,” stated Zuliz’s founder, Zhang Jingkang, in an interview. By embedding philanthropic ideals into the company’s strategy and daily operations, Zuliz is exploring a path where business value and societal value coexist. This approach not only provides ongoing momentum for philanthropic initiatives but also allows the company to deepen its understanding of user needs while serving the elderly, creating a positive feedback loop.

At the operational level of philanthropy, Zuliz has leveraged its network of nearly 3000 offline stores to establish a dual-channel network of “philanthropic communication + compassion transmission.” Currently, the majority of Zuliz’s volunteer teams consist of company employees and distributor representatives who, after professional training, conduct home visits and register needs to ensure precise and efficient assistance.

It is reported that in January 2026, Zuliz’s Love for the Elderly Charity Action will also extend to locations such as Hohhot in Inner Mongolia and Beishu Fen Village in northern Shanxi, further expanding the coverage of rural assistance. Zuliz’s practices demonstrate that contemporary corporate social responsibility goes beyond resource allocation; it is a systematic action based on long-term value creation. By integrating philanthropic ideals into the company’s DNA, Zuliz is exploring a sustainable and replicable path of altruism, injecting stable and enduring strength into rural elderly care initiatives.
