It’s truly considerate!” On the same day, the “Zuliz Shoes for Seniors Love for the Elderly Charity Action” continued its visits and aid efforts in Queshan County, Shangcai County, and Huaiyang County in Henan. Accompanied by village officials, volunteers ventured into the homes of the elderly in need, providing essential supplies like rice, flour, and oil, along with financial support. This marks the third phase of the charity action since its launch in September 2025.
This charitable initiative, coinciding with the Chongyang Festival, is a vivid embodiment of traditional virtues. As a company deeply invested in the elderly industry, Zuliz partnered with the China Aging Development Foundation back in 2023 to establish the “Love for the Elderly Fund.” In May 2025, they launched the “Zuliz Shoes for Seniors Love for the Elderly Charity Action” in Zhengzhou. From the first donation stop in Sanquan Village, Shanxi in September to the Elderly Respect Month activities in Tongxu County in October, and now the collaborative efforts in three counties in Henan, their philanthropic efforts have consistently centered around the core of “caring for elderly in rural areas,” transforming the cultural essence of respecting, loving, and assisting the elderly during the Chongyang Festival into tangible warmth. As a populous province, by the end of 2024, Henan had over 20.8% of its population aged 60 and above, totaling 20.8 million people, with rural elderly accounting for 8.3 percentage points higher than urban areas. With Zuliz’s Shoes for Seniors production headquarters rooted in Sui County, Henan, the nearly thousand-acre intelligent industrial park has established a complete industry chain from research and development to production. This land serves not only as fertile ground for corporate growth but also as the “main battlefield” for philanthropic practices. “With headquarters in Henan, love needs to be spread in Henan,” as founder Zhang Jingkang’s words reflect the original intention. This geographical advantage of being close to the resources allows philanthropic actions to respond to needs more swiftly, address pain points more accurately, and the donated materials from the Tongxu County event have already reached several nursing homes and villages. There will be more elderly care projects rooted and implemented in Henan in the future.
The intensive implementation of three philanthropic initiatives outlines the practical path of corporate responsibility. As the pioneering unit for the national standard of “Elderly Shoes” and holding a leading position in the industry with 458 patents, Zuliz has not strayed from its philanthropic mission despite its commercial success. Looking ahead, Zuliz’s philanthropic blueprint continues to expand. Following the actions in the three counties of Henan, the team will proceed to Hebei’s Chengde County for donations, gradually forming a cross-regional assistance network. In the longer term planning, nearly 3000 nationwide stores will be transformed into “hubs of love for the elderly,” making sales outlets a point of contact for philanthropy. In the context of accelerated population aging, such practices hold profound significance – corporations are not just providers of products but also builders of the elderly care Shoes ecosystem.
